Beautiful. I do sometimes wonder what humanity has become, where we’ve reached a state where we are all sitting in dark rooms staring at each other and being stressed. We need to take care of ourselves and each other ♥️
Just subscribed 🤍 Much like NPR persuades me into giving every three months, if I enjoy a service, I should show gratitude how I can. I’ve been enjoying your writing for over 20 years and continue to enjoy it now. Xo.
Love to read the book. Who is the author? About Speigel . . . having it play during my transition was my thought too when I first heard it. Need to put that in my will.
Also, I did subscribe to your paid service but want to confirm it went through. Didn't seem like it did.
Hi Rachael, thank you so much for your writing and shining a light on the human experience. For many years I was a human hamster sitting in the dark room staring at the glowing box pressing buttons for treats. Now that I’m retired I often think about how I could have thought different to change my experience and take better care of myself. Thanks again for your writings and connections
Another great writing!! Thank you for your passion for writing and sharing such meaningful content. I’m inspired to read the book! Letting go . . . a practice we could all do more of for sure. And you’ve chosen one of my favorite pieces of music, Speigel im Speigel! It takes me to a “floating on the clouds” place. Well done all around.
Thanks, Gwen <3 I’d love to hear your thoughts if you end up reading it!
Floating on the clouds is a great way to describe Speigel im Speigel! There are some songs that have the quality of accompanying a peaceful death. That’s one of them.
Monumentally articulate and spot-on. 🎯
Take more days off so you can keep ejecting the wrong tapes and play the right ones.

Yes to that, Ankur!
WOW. wow. THANK YOU. What a gift, what beautiful words, what a wonderful voice. Thank you!
Thank you so much for reading (and saying that). 🙏

Ahh, Danielle — I’m so grateful for your support! And on the level with NPR? I’ve made it! 😜

Hey Jim, ohh that phrase human hamster hurts my heart! So glad retirement freed you from that perpetual motion. Thanks for reading <3
